Mebartsho or Burning Lake is a five minutes’ walk from the road point leading to Tang Chhu. Terton Pema Lingpa discovered Guru’s Termas (treasures) here. A wooden bridge crossed the gorge and offers a good view of the lake. Legend has it that only the enlightened will be able to see the temples that lies below the waters.
