VILLAGE HIKING TOUR
Walk Where Faith Meets Village Life
Experience peaceful village walks, sacred temples, traditional homes, and beautiful valleys while connecting with the people and culture of western Bhutan.
The Journey
Paths of Faith & Everyday Life
Some of Bhutan’s most meaningful experiences are found beyond its famous landmarks—in quiet villages, ancient paths, mountain farms, and sacred places where everyday life remains closely connected to tradition.
The Sacred Path and Village Hike is an 8-day journey through Paro, Thimphu, Haa, and Punakha, combining gentle countryside walks with cultural discovery. Follow peaceful trails through forests and farmlands, visit centuries-old temples, and meet local families whose lives remain deeply rooted in Bhutanese traditions.
From the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery above Paro Valley to the tranquil villages of Haa and Punakha, each day reveals a different side of Bhutan. Share tea with villagers, visit traditional farmhouses, enjoy a soothing hot stone bath, and take in breathtaking Himalayan scenery along the way.
More than a hiking holiday, this journey offers a chance to slow down, connect with local life, and experience Bhutan through its landscapes, spirituality, and people.
