The Journey
Beyond the Roads Less Travelled
Step beyond Bhutan’s well-known landmarks and into a quieter world of remote trails, sacred places, and timeless mountain communities. The Hidden Kingdom Tour begins in the peaceful Haa Valley, where the Sagala Trek leads through pristine forests of rhododendron and juniper, alpine meadows, and high ridgelines offering spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari, Jichu Drakey, and Tsherimgang.
As the trail climbs deeper into the mountains, pass remote camps and yak-herder settlements, discovering a way of life shaped by the rhythms of the highlands. Along the journey, encounter sacred temples, traditional villages, and fascinating cultural sites that reveal Bhutan’s deep spiritual heritage.
The adventure also takes you through Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha, where you can explore iconic landmarks including Tiger’s Nest Monastery and Punakha Dzong.
Blending Himalayan trekking, cultural discovery, spirituality, and breathtaking scenery, this 8-day journey offers an unforgettable glimpse into a lesser-seen side of Bhutan—far beyond the roads most travellers take.
