In the Shadow of Mount Jomolhari
Journey through remote Himalayan valleys, alpine meadows, high mountain passes, and pristine wilderness beneath the majestic peak of Jomolhari.
The Journey
Where the Himalayas Rise Before You
The Jomolhari Trek is a journey into the wild heart of western Bhutan, where ancient trails lead deep into a world of soaring peaks, remote valleys, and pristine Himalayan wilderness. As the trail climbs higher, the landscape unfolds through blue pine and rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, yak pastures, and dramatic mountain passes.
At the heart of the journey stands Mount Jomolhari, rising majestically above the highlands and creating an unforgettable backdrop to the trek. Along the way, encounter remote mountain communities, traditional ways of life, and landscapes where nature remains largely untouched.
Each day brings a new perspective—from peaceful valleys and forested trails to rugged high-altitude terrain and spectacular Himalayan panoramas. Challenging yet deeply rewarding, the 11-day Jomolhari Trek is an unforgettable adventure for travelers seeking wild landscapes, authentic mountain experiences, and a profound connection with Bhutan’s Himalayas.
