During the flight, you may enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Jomolhari and Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by our guide and transferred to a traditional farmhouse in Paro. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the farmhouse family. Staying at a farmhouse gives you an opportunity to experience the daily life of a Bhutanese farming family and learn about their traditional way of living. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Paro Dzong, built in the 17th century and now serving as an important administrative and religious centre. You will then visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, traditionally believed to have been built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century. In the evening, you can stroll through Paro town and explore the local shops and streets. Overnight at a hotel in Paro.
